Trump’s peppy tweet-party over the weekend made his bonkers CPAC speech look like the Sermon on the Mount.

If you’re thinking of crashing the gates of Mordor and checking it out for yourself, be warned: Reading those tweets is a little like doing Satan’s annual colonoscopy. Someone has to do it, but it doesn’t have to be you.

A few highlights: He attacked John McCain, who’s been dead for seven months; responded to a Saturday Night Live rerun he didn’t like by suggesting the show should be investigated by the FCC; and claimed — without evidence, of course — that the Democrats tried to steal the 2016 election.

Oh, but that wasn’t all. Journalist Judd Legum noted that Trump also legitimized conspiracy mongers who hew to some of the craziest, most unhinged theories from an internet swamp that’s chockablock with disproven nonsense:

And responding to Trump’s SNL tweet, Adam Schiff brought the hammer down:

With all due respect, Rep. Schiff, he’s a clear and present danger to the planet.

But thank you, as always, for your heroic efforts in stopping him.
