Helping to facilitate common ground through understanding and conversation. The Politicus is a collaborative political community that facilitates content creation directly on the site. If you are a political blogger/writer or would like to start creating content about politics please join us today. The Politicus was launched on January 20, 2009, but the idea for The Politicus was developed 1998 at Hofstra University. At that time the site was called Politics Made Simple. The core idea for Politics Made Simple was to give regular people the ability to share their views and opinions on politics. And even though the name changed 11 years later, offering regular people the opportunity to share their views on politics is still our core mission today. The Politicus isn’t your typical collaborative content platform that only allows the creation of blog post. We understand people create and share content in a multitude of ways, especially when the subject matter is political. So our users can create content on our site in 6 different ways.
