We won a real victory today, and Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) thanks you for working to keep Congress resolute. We stood shoulder to shoulder with activists aaround the nation. Today, PDA and our allies celebrate forcing Trump to back down—but our victory is only temporary. We shut down the Donald Trump-Mitch McConnell shutdown, but only for three weeks. Tell Congress to Keep Our Government Open With No Wall
The American People, and both houses of Congress overwhelmingly support keeping our government open. Period. No wall. We all also support comprehensive immigration reform. We do not want to waste $30 billion plus on a wasteful, ineffectual wall that will not make anyone safer, but will only signal symbolic support for bigots and extremists. Tell Congress no wall!
PDA was founded in 2004 to achieve progress on key priorities, among them social and economic justice for all, including oir sisters and brothers from other nations. With your help, PDA will continue mobilizing with allied organizations and activists like you to accomplish great things.
