Trump makes unannounced visit to Walter Reed Medical Center for ‘quick exam and labs,’ says White House

President Donald Trump spent more than two hours at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, on Saturday afternoon to complete “portions” of his annual physical exam, according to the White House.

Donald Trump Add Interest Saturday’s appointment was not on the president’s weekend public schedule, in contrast to Trump’s 2018 and 2019 physicals, which were both announced ahead of time.

“Anticipating a very busy 2020, the President is taking advantage of a free weekend here in Washington, D.C., to begin portions of his routine annual physical exam at Walter Reed,” White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a statement after the president had arrived at the facility.
