Steve Schmidt was on Nicole Wallace’s show on MSNBC with Rosie O’Donnell yesterday, tearing into drumpf & company on family separation and it was a thing of beauty…


Near the end, he makes the case that Dems have not made a big enough issue out of this outrage.

But the conventional wisdom is that family separation and immigration are losing issues for Dems.

I personally think that if framed correctly, i.e. the way that Steve does, as a blow against American values while pointing out the need for a more compassionate and effective solution this issue could help fire up our base.

Those who think the present policy is just dandy aren’t potential voters for us anyway.
