Received this e-mail today from VoteVets in support of U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin’s (D. WI) re-election campaign:
The Koch-connected Concerned Veterans for America have spent obscene amounts of money smearing Senator Tammy Baldwin’s record on veterans’ health care.
And the truth is we’ve had enough of it. We aren’t going to stand idly by and let them keep it up without a response. Not happening. Not on our watch.
So we are on the air with a $550,000 ad buy. It features a U.S. Army Ranger from Wisconsin who did two tours in Afghanistan — one who knows how Tammy Baldwin has fought to help veterans fighting addiction.
The Koch brothers have been relentless in their attacks on Tammy Baldwin. They think that just because Trump won Wisconsin they can beat Tammy as well — and they are trying to do it by attacking her record on veterans’ issues.
Well, we’re going to answer them to the best of our ability, but we can’t do it alone:

Thank you for standing with us here. It doesn’t get more important.
All my best,
