Watch an obstinate Ted Cruz refused to put on a mask when a reporter asked him.

Trump sycophant/enabler Senator Ted Cruz was asked respectfully by a reporter to wear a mask during a press conference. The reporters likely knew that the pompous Senator speaks explosively with fluid sometimes emanating from his trombone-like soliloquies.

An obstinate Ted Cruz refuses to wear a mask.

“When I’m talking in front of the TV cameras I’m not going to wear a mask,” Cruz responded. “And all of us have been immunized, so…”

“It would make us feel better,” the reporter replied to Cruz.

“You’re welcome to step away if you like,” Cruz replied. “The whole point of a vaccine … CDC guidance is what we’re following.”

Of course, Cruz was wrong. In the clip, Dr. Sanjay Gupta made dispelled the misinformation. Dr. Gupta said that even if one is vaccinated it is not clear that they still cannot transmit COVID-19. He said that until we have reached herd immunity we must all be careful. Wear your mask.

Any responsible politician would wear a mask to protect people he is in close proximity to. Unfortunately, Ted Cruz is not one of those.
