VA-Sen: Former Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) Gives Sen. Mark Warner's (D) Re-Election Bid A Boost

2 min read

Received this e-mail today from former Governor and potentially 2021 gubernatorial candidate, Terry McAuliffe (D. VA), in support of U.S. Senator Mark Warner’s (D. VA) re-election campaign:

After watching my friends Joe, Kamala, Barack and Michelle speak last week, I’m more fired up than ever about helping Democrats win up and down the ballot this November.

Here in Virginia, there’s nothing more important than making sure Mark Warner defeats his Trump-clone opponent Republican Daniel Gade. Twice now, Gade has doubled down on Donald Trump’s lies about voting by mail.

Like Trump, Gade knows he can’t win if it’s a fair election — now, just like Trump, he’s trying to suppress the vote.

We can’t let it happen.

Can you contribute $27 or more right now to support Mark Warner’s reelection campaign?

Mark and I have worked closely together for years and there’s one thing we’ve both seen over and over again — Virginia elections are always close.

This year, it’s especially important that we not be complacent. Nate Silver’s 538 says we have no chance to take back the Senate if Mark loses.

Worse still, Virginians will be stuck with another Trump and McConnell rubber stamp representing us in the senate. With this triumvirate of bozos in power, all of the progressive gains we’ve fought for will simply be wiped away.

Mark Warner has been there for us, now let’s make sure we’re there for him. Please donate right now to make sure Mark gets reelected.

Thank you,
