VA Gov Candidate Wants Trump to Declare Martial Law

The latest Trump Toady to dive off the cliff into the deep end of the swamp is Amanda Chase, a Republican state senator in Virginia who is running for governor there. In a FB post this morning, she called on the Malignant Mangoface to declare law because . . . Biden is cheating:

GOP gubernatorial candidate in Virginia calls on Trump to declare martial law

Writing in a Facebook post early in the morning on Tuesday, Chase said Biden is “not my president and never will be,” while linking to a New York Times story detailing how the Electoral College had certified Biden’s election victory.

She echoed Trump’s unsubstantiated claim that Biden had “cheated to win” and said she and many other Americans will “never accept these results.”

“Fair elections we can accept but cheating to win; never. It’s not over yet. So thankful President Trump has a backbone and refuses to concede. President Trump should declare martial law as recommended by General Flynn,” Chase wrote. [emphasis added between giggles]

I guess 50+ rulings by at least 86 judges weren’t enough to convince her the election was fair. Nor was the statement by Chris Krebs that the election was honest. Nor Attorney General Bill Barr’s admission that DOJ and FBI couldn’t find enough fraud to matter. (They didn’t find any to speak of, but Barr was trying to soften the blow.) An admission by Mitch McConnell didn’t interest her, either.

What would convince her, d’you suppose? Angels from heaven?
