Trump's Latest Ad is Great – for Biden

2 min read

It’s late and I should be back in bed, but this one was just too delicious: Joe Biden Mocked In Trump Campaign Ad For Kneeling — In A Church

A campaign ad for President Donald Trump took a giant step beyond criticizing protest kneeling to mocking Democratic presidential rival Joe Biden for kneeling in a church.

The attack is the latest sign that Trump may be losing his way in his battle against kneeling.

Here’s a still from the ad:

The Biden video was carved out of his appearance last week at the Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Wilmington, Delaware, where he met with Black leaders after George Floyd, a Black man, died last month while a white police officer in Minneapolis knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes. There is no context provided in the Trump ad nor a hint that Biden was at church when he knelt.

(Well, actually, there is a cross in the background. but it’s not obvious.)

There’s a lot of twitter comment howling at this ad, but I’ll just post this one:

Oh, did I mention Joe Biden is a Catholic and is used to kneeling in a church?
