Trump Wants More Prayers

1 min read
Live updates: Trump calls on governors to allow places of worship to open this weekend:

BREAKING: President Trump said that if governors do not follow his recommendations to allow in-person religious services to resume, he will “override” them. Trump did not specify what that means and he did not take any questions. “In America we need more prayer, not less,” Trump said.

We’re opening too fast, the case load is already rising in states that have opened with few or no restrictions, we on track to reach 100,000 known dead (almost certainly an undercount) before June 1st, Trump favorite drug, HCQ, has been shown several times to be more dangerous and far less helpful than he’s been claiming, unemployment is at Great Depression levels, and the second wave of the virus is building. Worst of all, nothing he’s throwing at Joe Biden is working.

No wonder he wants prayers. (He wouldn’t dare ask for thoughts.) And no wonder he didn’t take any questions.
