Trump claims he didn't try to fire Mueller because firing people 'is not good'

This is a guy whose entire persona was based on the lame catchphrase “You’re fired!”
And here he was earlier today:
“I’m a student of history. I see what you get when you fire people and it is not good. But there would have been nothing wrong with firing him. Legally, I had absolute right to fire, but I never told Don McGahn to fire Mueller.”
Hey, most of us aren’t lawyers, but we do write things down. So there’s a record:
Sally Yates
James Comey
Omarosa Manigault-Newman
Michael Flynn
Preet Bharara
Anthony Scaramucci
Steve Bannon
David Shulkin
H.R. McMaster
Rex Tillerson
Etc.
So, yeah, a lot of “not good” coming from this administration.
And who can forget the time he valiantly fired Secretary of State Rex Tillerson … via tweet?
Hey asshole, just because you don’t have the guts to fire these people face to face doesn’t mean you didn’t do it. Trump’s cabinet is about two months away from staffing up through Kelly Services. But, hey, if Scott Baio and Gary Busey have both served as chief of staff by February 2020, I’ll win my $10,000 Vegas parlay. So … yay incompetence!
