Trump attempts authoritarian talk to force the open economy with a disturbing intonation.

Donald Trump sounded very troubling in his press conference today. He spoke almost in the fashion a strongman or a dictator would speak.  If too many bend to his wishes, then we will be closer to accepting him as an authoritarian.

Donald Trump the Authoritarian

Watch the entire episode here.

Donald Trump has little care for Americans. It is clear based on today’s rhetoric and the tone of it.

“I just want to make something clear,” ‘authoritarian wannabe’ Trump said. “It’s very important. Vaccine or no vaccine, we’re back and we’re starting the process. And in many cases, they don’t have vaccines and a virus or the flu comes and you fight through it. We haven’t seen anything like this in a hundred and some-odd years. Nineteen seventeen. But you fight through it and people sometimes — I guess we don’t know exactly yet, but it looks like they become immune or at least for a short while. And maybe for life. But you fight through it.”

The ‘authoritarian wannabe’ then tried to minimize deaths without giving context.

“Many of us have lost friends,” Trump said. “We read about that and we see that and that’s what the news covers. But a very very small percentage, it’s a very very small percentage, I say it all the time. It’s a tiny percentage. That’s a very small percentage.”

Here is the thing, while the COVID-19 death rate is about 1.3%, it amounts to 2.145 million of Americans even if only 50% get infected. Worse, those who live through the disease may have permanent organ damage, stroke risk, and many other now pre-existing conditions. In a country that has terrible health care for the masses, it means the continued march to bankruptcy and poverty to more and more Americans.

We must not listen to the toddler-in-chief-wannabe authoritarian. We better get serious about the 2020 election.
