This might be the most important piece to read on Covid-19

Ed Yong of The Atlantic hs a strong track record as a writer on medical issues.

He has a new piece up, titled America’s Patchwork Pandemic Is Fraying Even Further and subtitled The coronavirus is coursing through different parts of the U.S. in different ways, making the crisis harder to predict, control, or understand.

Normally when i post about a published piece, I provide excerpts, in part because some want to know if it is worth their while to use one of their limited number of free articles to read it, in part because some want a sense without reading the article.

I am NOT going to provide any excerpts this time, because you really need to take the time to read the entire piece.  It is that good.  It is that thorough.

Please, if I have any credibility after my 16+ years on this blog, trust me on this.

And here’s the good thing — it is NOT behind a paywall — the publication is making all of its Covid coverage free access.

So PLEASE, go and read it.

You will have a much more complete understanding of what we still face.
