The NYT still doesn't get it.

The editorial board after highlighting the crazy that is Marjorie Taylor Greene and wondering why the Republican Party is failing to act, comes to these observations :-

The silence from Republican leaders has been deafening. That can’t continue if the party has any hope of reclaiming conservatism from nihilistic rot — something every American should be rooting for to maintain a healthy two-party system

OK Rip Van Winkle.

I propose the following counterpoints:

  • Nihilistic Rot: Is the trademark of the modern GOP.
  • A healthy 2 party system? Since when?

Dear goddess, it is as if they had their heads stuck up their asses since Eisenhower was President.

Big Tent Dems includes also what is left of the sane ex Republicans, who now seem to be shocked surprised that President Biden is not one of them. Note: Biden is an old-fashioned Democrat not an ex-Republican.

Republicans go from the talibangelicals and Neo-cons right through to the white supremacist neo-Nazis, that is the battle now going on for the heart and soul of the Republican Party. None of whom are I what would call healthy.

Sheesh, catch-up!
