The “Everything Terrible Trump Has Done So Far” Omnibus (Week 163)

As part of the ongoing project to catalog every awful thing the Trump Administration has done as a reference for future political arguments and whatever few posterity survives to see 2020, here’s everything awful the Trump Administration has done this week.

1834. Created an office to strip citizenship from naturalized Americans

1835. Used the coronavirus as a pretext for draconian immigration restrictions that have nothing to do with prevention, like closing the border

  1. It was revealed that US sanctions on Iran hampered its efforts to contain the coronavirus
  2. A judge ruled that the Trump administration had appointed Ken Cuccinnelli illegally

1838. Limited the use of science in policy decision making

1839. Exacerbated the coronavirus outbreak by limiting telework for Federal employees

1840. Blocked New York's Gateway tunnel

1841. Began to withhold Federal Funds from sanctuary cities

1842. Attempted to blame Obama for the shortage of coronavirus test kits

1843. Said people with coronavirus could probably go to work and be fine

1844. Posted ads on Facebook invoking the census to direct people to his campaign website'


This week Trump continued to blow the Federal government’s response to the coronavirus, spreading downright dangerous misinformation and attempting to blame Obama for his own incompetence. Meanwhile, Trump created an office to strip people of their citizenship and continued his war on sanctuary cities.
