This week the Trump administration sunk to deeper levels of self parody, which would be funny if it wasn’t so disturbing. Most notably, he came out and point blank admitted he’d collude with foreign governments against his political opponents if given the chance. Then he decided to use a WWII internment camp to house detained migrants, completely missing the symbolic implications. And at a time when a miniseries on Chernobyl achieves critical acclaim Trump decided now would be a good time to mine for Uranium near the Grand Canyon and play fast and loose with nuclear waste.
