The last week saw some revelations regarding the Russian investigation. Most significantly was the bombshell accusation that Trump had instructed Michael Cohen to lie to Congress, and that Trump had been in talks on construction of the Trump hotel in Moscow up to the 2016 election. Meanwhile, the shutdown chugged into its second month, with government workers and people who rely on federal assistance seriously feeling the pain.
