The Daily Bucket–She Comes in Colors Everywhere.

The World is colors everywhere

here and there

And the sky’s blinding blue is right in front of you.

The burgeoning flowers

send new blossoms out for hours.

I admire the colors of each different lily,

Or the Dragon’s Tongue; a little silly.

My Dragon’s Tongue managed to survive all these years.

The edible plant will cleverly cloak, the blossoming beauty of the artichoke.

I ate 10 or so home grown artichokes this year.  It’s hard to let a few go to flower when they are $6 (organic) in the store. But the flowers are priceless.

Of course the Lotus’ magic, is worth a camera click.

The round pads are the lotus; the yellow flower is a lily. They elbow each other for a place in the sun.

Sometimes I wonder if squirrels have souls,  and other times, why do rocks with holes.

Some are volcanic, others water shaped.
