Wow, a presidential endorsement! They must be really special!
In fact, I found a whole web page at “Good Jobs First” dedicated to how cool they are. The company has only paid $1.8 million in fines for financial, environmental and safety violations in the last several tears.
The Good Jobs information was a little out of date. I’d like to add in to Fisher’s accomplishments another eight OSHA violations, most of them serious, since 2017.
One of their past officers went down for tax crimes. His brother runs the company now.
And the Butterfly Protectors are suing them for causing erosion that damaged butterfly habitat on the Texas/Mexico border.
And they are involved as the construction contractor, but not charged with crimes, in the private Build The Wall scam that has undone Steve Bannon.
While Clark County Nevada rejected their road-building bid because of their shabby record, Fisher is getting a leg up from the Army Corps to win bids for the Wall.
