Email MikeFox@PDAmerica.org to deliver a
Medicare For All Letter to Your Congressperson
And a Stop Trump’s Wall Letter to Your Senators
Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) helps you make a huge difference with Educate Congress letter drops, action alerts, and coalition efforts with dozens of progressive organizations. Email Mike Fox to help us gain even more support for Medicare For All, to stop Trump’s border wall, and to make your voice heard on other critically important policies. Stand up against Trump’s fake emergency declaration. Click here to help revoke Trump’s bogus emergency wall declaration by joining events at your Senators’ offices this Monday.
PDA supports Fair Trade agreements that respect the environment, labor, consumers, and democracy—not so-called “free trade” deals that give multinational corporations free rein to pollute, exploit, and dominate our lives. Click here to help us End NAFTA, one of the worst of the neoliberal rigged economic bad deals.
Call Congress 202-858-1717–urge your Representative
to cosponsor Rep. Jayapal’s Medicare For All Act now!
PDA makes it easy for you to tell Congress:
Rep. Jayapal’s Medicare for All Act will provide comprehensive healthcare for all of us with zero out of pocket expenses: no premiums, co-pays, cap, or deductibles, including, mental, dental, vision, prescriptions, medical devices, preventative, women’s health, long-term care, and more. Medicare For All will save 10,000s of lives and 100s $billions each year. Click here to sign on as a grassroots cosponsor of Medicare For All.
PDA is asking you who we should endorse for president.
If you haven’t voted yet, please click here to vote now.
The poll will close Midnight EST / 9pm PST tomorrow, Sunday, March 10, 2019. All PDA activists who have been registered with us (on our email list) since Jan. 2, 2019 are eligible. (60 days in advance of the vote.) Any candidate that takes 60% of the vote or more will be endorsed. If the 60% threshold is not met in the first round, the top two vote recipients will be voted on again in a run off. Results will be made public within 48 hours of the closing of the process. Make your voice heard. Vote now!
PDA is working with a wide coalition to gain more cosponsors for the Medicare For All Act. Join the effort by delivering an Educate Congress letter to your representative at a district office near you. Email MikeFox@PDAmerica.org if you can drop a letter to your congressperson. We’ve also drafted a letter you can deliver to your Senators’ local office urging them to vote to block Trump’s misuse of emergency powers to build a boondoggle border wall.
PDA is teaming up with Code Pink and our Advisory Board member and original cofounder Medea Benjamin mobilizing to prevent war and regime change in Venezuela. Please click here to contact congressional Democrats using Code Pink’s action alert, and urge them to stand up against Trump’s illegal regime change policies. We held a briefing call with Medea Benjamin in support of this action. The recording will be available soon.
PDA is working with our sibling organization People Demanding Action on exciting webinars to focus on election integrity and ending voter suppression; ending poverty and homelessness; outreach to rural, urban, minority, and younger progressives; as well as organizing on college campuses—and much more! We can’t do anything without your strong support. We hope you appreciate the action alerts, briefing calls, congressional meetings, webinars, letter drops, and other organizing efforts enough to support us so we can keep them coming. Please pitch in $1000, $100, or whatever you can afford to support our organizing to elect progressives!
P.S. We’re here to help you make progress in your state and locality! If you need help organizing a new PDA chapter or energizing your existing chapter, please contact PDA Field Coordinator Dan O’Neal. Join the PDA Phone Team making easy, effective calls from your own home with Mike “Phone Guy” Fox. Also please pitch in whatever you can afford to support our efforts to elect progressives.
