As Trump golfs today and thousands continue to succumb to COVID-19, progressive video producers Meidas Touch are all over the story.
I just got back from the grocery store, where maskless dipshits teemed about like barracudas just waiting to kill me or otherwise ruin my life. I swear I even saw one guy smirk at me — because, you know, I was wearing a mask. Where ever did they get the idea that masks were uncool and borderline un-American? It’s such a mystery.
Anyway, I’m tired and cranky. Too tired and cranky to conjure a fitting insult for the gelatinous Tang-brained duffer who promised he’d never, ever golf if we elected him president. So I urge you to enjoy this video in lieu of invective:
Pretty jarring, but that’s what we need.
Now, generally I find it kind of silly to criticize presidents for golfing or taking vacations. (If only Trump had felt the same way when Obama was president.) But we’re living in extraordinary times. Granted, Trump working on coronavirus mitigation strategies is to the country what Gary Busey performing a vasectomy with an ice auger is to my testicles. So, yeah, Trump should golf. He should golf tomorrow, too. And the next day. He might as well just skip work from now on.
But if we had a competent president? I would expect that person to be burning the midnight oil trying to come up with solutions, instead of just decreeing more death.
Then again, what else are we to expect from the dim reaper?
