SC-Sen: Stacey Abrams, “Jaime Harrison (D) is the face of that New South in South Carolina”

1 min read

Received this e-mail today from former gubernatorial candidate, Stacey Abrams (D. GA), in support of Jaime Harrison’s (D. SC) U.S. Senate campaign:

Last week, I endorsed Jaime Harrison for U.S. Senate in South Carolina.

Jaime is a strong leader for the people of South Carolina, and will help restore hope for so many. For too long, the people of South Carolina have suffered from stark inequalities in both healthcare and infrastructure. Jaime Harrison will be a champion for their cause.

I believe it’s time to build a New South that is more equitable, and where everyone has a chance to achieve the American Dream. Jaime is the face of that New South in South Carolina. If you agree, I hope you’ll join me in supporting him.

Jaime has lived the struggles that so many South Carolinians live day-to-day. He understands their plight — and he will fight on the Senate floor for a better future with more opportunities for all South Carolinians.

For too long Lindsey Graham has fought for his own self-interest over the interests of the people of his state. It’s time for a change. Jaime can be that change. I hope you’ll chip in to fuel his fight.

I’m proud to support Jaime in this fight, and I can’t wait to see all the good he does for the state of South Carolina.
