SC-Sen: Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D. IL) Helps Jaime Harrison (D) Take Down Leningrad Lindsey Graham (R)

Received this e-mail from U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth (D. IL) in support of Jaime Harrison’s (D. SC) U.S. Senate campaign:

I’m writing to you today to ask you to make a donation to support Jaime Harrison, the Democratic candidate for Senate in South Carolina.

Jaime is hands down our best chance to defeat Lindsey Graham. Not only that, he’s exactly the kind of leader I need by my side in the Senate, fighting for our shared values.

Values like ensuring that all Americans — no matter how much money they make — have access to good healthcare. Values like making sure that every kid can go to a great public school.

If you agree that we need more Democrats in the Senate working on these issues, split a $3 donation between my reelection campaign and Jaime Harrison’s campaign now.

Jaime’s path here wasn’t easy. He grew up in poverty in an area of South Carolina called the “Corridor of Shame.” He knows firsthand what it’s like to be from a family in which you sometimes have to choose between buying food and paying the electric bill.

But with the help of teachers and mentors who believed in him, Jaime went from a mobile home to Yale University and Georgetown Law.

Now, Jaime is running for Senate so he can help every South Carolina family achieve their American Dream. Can he count on your help to do it?

Split a $3 donation between Jaime Harrison’s campaign for U.S. Senate and my reelection campaign. We need your help.

The truth is, Lindsey Graham can’t be counted on to put the people of South Carolina first. They deserve new leadership, and Jaime Harrison is the right person for the job.

All my best,
