SC-Sen: Sen. Jon Tester (D. MT) Helps Jaime Harrison (D) Get Ready To Defeat Lindsey Graham (R)

Received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator Jon Tester (D. MT) in support of Jaime Harrison’s (D. SC) U.S. Senate campaign:

Senator Lindsey Graham went from one of Donald Trump’s fiercest Republican critics, to his right-hand man in the U.S. Senate. He’s become a rubber stamp for anything Trump and Mitch McConnell want done.

My friend Jaime Harrison is running for the U.S. Senate in South Carolina, to defeat Lindsey Graham and make sure folks in South Carolina have a Senator who works for them — not Trump or McConnell.

But Trump, McConnell and their dark money allies will spend whatever it takes to keep Lindsey Graham in the U.S. Senate. That’s why Jaime needs our help right now.

Can you make a split contribution to elect Jaime and send Lindsey Graham packing in 2020?

Jaime would make one heck of a U.S. Senator.

He didn’t grow up with much, but he worked hard, went to law school, and made good on his childhood promise to buy his grandparents a house. He never forgot where he came from, and went to work after he graduated helping other kids from his community succeed.

I know he’ll fight hard to make sure our government works hard for the people we’re elected to represent — not the big donors and super PACs calling the shots in Trump’s Washington.

Maybe Lindsey Graham used to care about sticking up for regular folks, but lately he’s cared far more about being as close to Donald Trump as possible. And that’s just not good enough for folks in South Carolina and across this country who need help.

That’s why I’m asking you today to split a contribution to help Jaime unseat Lindsey Graham. Anything you can pitch in right now will make a real difference.

Thanks for pitching in to help Jaime. I know I can count on this grassroots team.

— Jon
