SC-Sen: Sen, Cory Booker (D. NJ) Continues To Help Jaime Harrison (D) To Defeat Leningrad Lindsey

2 min read

Received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator and Presidential Candidate, Cory Booker (D. NJ), in support of Jaime Harrison’s (D. SC) U.S. Senate campaign:

Team, I’m grateful to be here today in South Carolina alongside my good friend, Jaime Harrison.

I’m not sure if you know this, but Jaime and I go way back. I think it’s safe to say that we’ve both come a long way since we first became friends at Yale many years ago. Now, I’m running for president and Jaime is running to become a U.S. senator.

Here’s why I’m writing to you. As you may have heard, I need to raise $1.7 million by tomorrow, September 30th at 11:59 p.m. Otherwise, I won’t have enough resources to build a winning campaign. If we don’t hit this goal, I intend to leave the race.

If you want my voice to remain in this race, can I count on you to split a donation between my campaign and Jaime’s today?

Jaime and I both have some big challenges before us. I have to hit this huge fundraising goal by tomorrow night. Jaime has to defeat Lindsey Graham in what is sure to be a very expensive Senate race. If either of us is to be successful, we’re both going to need people like you to step up when we need it most.

That’s why I’m asking for your help. Can you chip in right now to support my campaign and Jaime’s?

I hope you’ll consider making a donation to our campaigns today to make sure we both have the resources to compete.

Thank you,
