robbing pawn shops and gun stores has nothing to do with BLM / antifa: Three dead so far.

5 min read

There are reasons on the one hand for police brutality in terms of being paranoid about armed protesters but the reality is that there is no armed insurrection and more likely opportunists are doing conventional robberies of drug stores, pawn shops, and gun stores, mostly far away from demonstrations.

Three have died so far from those specific, targeted crimes, unrelated to ideology but motivated by unrest. To punctuate that are the attempts to use explosives on ATMs that spiked in the past week leaving one person dead.

Trump wants you to believe it’s an armed insurrection because he gets to call out the actual US Army and he almost got away with it despite the military and the Constitution.

During actual declines in homicides, law enforcement and the military perhaps overarmed and over-medicated, plus bored with routine training, want some “real” action. Unfortunately this attempt to militarize civil disobedience is being manufactured by an IMPOTUS* who wants to be re-elected, and who revels in deploying “anonymous” armed federal riot control officers from a myriad of agencies. Because isn’t a street demo like a prison riot.

Too many idiots are itchy to shoot someone, especially if they think they can get away with it, as much as those who want to get away with property crime. They’re not even the same as the cosplayers who think they’ll be able to do some analog rather than digital first-person-shooting.

These are not looters as much as opportunistic robbers taking advantage of initial chaos. They may be people of color, but they are also part of an informal economy that traffics in stolen goods of which unregistered weapons are a significant part.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office has identified the man who was shot and killed in the melee near the Minneapolis Police Department’s 3rd Precinct on Wednesday evening.

He was 43-year-old Calvin Lewis Horton Jr. of Minneapolis. He died after being shot as protests broke out near East Lake Street and Bloomington Avenue.

The medical examiner says Horton died of shotgun wounds to the chest and upper extremities.

The owner of a nearby business is under arrest. Charges are still pending.

Hector Henandez captured the unrest as it unfolded in front of his restaurant.

“I start to see like thousands of people running around. Next thing you know we have probably 100 people banging on the windows throwing rocks,” Hernandez said.

Somewhere in the chaos, shots rang out. Abi Baires and her employees heard the unmistakable sound.

“That was like what’s happening. All of a sudden a man is running over here and he just collapsed right there in the corner,” Baires said.

People watched as officers started CPR on the seemingly lifeless man.…

Parallel to this is the cosplay of what happens when the s___ hits the fan WTSHTF reenacted by wannabee Boogaloo Bois. Very low-rent exhibitionism/fetishism practiced by frightened racists.

The boogaloo movement, members of which are often referred to as boogaloo boys or boogaloo bois, is a loosely organized American far-right extremist movement. Members generally identify as a libertarian citizen-militia, and say they are preparing for a coming second American civil war, which they call the “boogaloo”.…

The reality is that there are professionals out there, some more proud of what they do.
