Why doesn't Ukraine use its control on Russian pipelines as negociation leverage?

Ukraine could threaten both Russian and Europeans to blow up or simply shut down the pipelines passing on their territory if Russians get too aggressive and if Europeans do not convince Putin to calm down. Why don't they do it?
