What would it take for the United States to return to Afghanistan within the next decade or two? [closed]

So we know that the United States has pulled out of Afghanistan which is now in the hands of the Taliban. What I'm wondering is what type of event or attack would have to happen in order to get the United States back over to Afghanistan with or without the support of the American public? I can speculate that it would have to be an 9/11 type event but even then it would probably have to be on a larger scale.
