US inflation rate is high because of Biden administration?

As reported in the news, for example this one, US current inflation rate is so high, and I started hearing people around me blaming Biden for this, and saying Trump could do better than this etc.

However, since many countries are also experiencing high inflation rate, I'm not super convinced that US high inflation is because of Biden's poor administration, but I'm not sure if it's true or not.

Can someone please help me understand the root cause?
