The 2012 Magnitsky Act and its 2016 "Global" [GMA] expansion allows the US authorities to sanction specific individuals for human rights violations. While there is a fairly detailed list on Wikipedia on who was sanctioned and when under these Acts, I could not find any per-country statistics, so as to answer a question like "which country has most nationals on the GMA list". The number of people on the list is pretty substantial to make back-of-the-envelope statistics rather daunting.

So, have any such statics been compiled somewhere? Roughly speaking, which are the "leading" countries on the Magnitsky sanctions list, by number of individuals from a country, or e.g. their position in the foreign government?
