As far as I realize, in most Muslim-majority countries -

  1. the state and religion are separate; however, the state recognizes and respects religion.
  2. religion, religious scriptures, and religious figures cannot be made fun of or disrespected.
  3. someone cannot publicly criticize or denounce religion.
  4. someone cannot commit blasphemy in public.

As far as I realize, on the contrary, most Western countries have adopted quite the opposite policies.

What other differences exist between Muslim-majority countries and most Western countries in general regarding religion?
