What is the eligibility criteria to become a Nato member?

Is it the current Nato members (Nato Presidents of Nato group) will vote in favour of including "India"
and then the number of votes counted will be the final decision?

30 is an even number.

15=15 results in a tie.

I.e. 15 Nato Presidents have voted "Yes", 15 Nato Presidents have voted "No".

"Yes" - Favouring India to become a Nato President.
"No" - Not Favouring India to become a Nato President.

What can be done in this regard if there is a tie?.

If (15=15) then

recasting of votes i.e. again Nato presidents will cast votes.

end if

16 favouring "Yes", 14 favouring "No"
results in India becoming a NATO member.
