If, after the 1922 Committee election on Monday, and a subsequent vote of no-confidence of Tory MPs, Boris Johnson still refuses to go to the Queen with his resignation, what happens next?

Would it be necessary for there to be a vote of no-confidence in the House, before he could be forced out?
