How is the personal relationship between Vladimir Putin and Mohammed bin Salman?
Putin is known for being fairly able to use his personal charm in some political relations, e.g. with Berlusconi which some media described as a "bromance". What is meant by this term in this case is basically (repatedly) heaping praise on each other, defending each others' positions to third parties based on a good amout of shared worldview, and--finally-- a fair amount of informality in a number of joint meetings between the two, sometimes in plain view of the press. (Berlusconi certainly hasn't had these exclusively with Putin--there are some similarly "candid" photo ops of him with Bush for instance, albeit fewer perhaps.)
About three years ago, a particularly warm handshake between Putin and Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud made the news at a G20 summit. (The Washington Post described it as a "bro-shake".) Is this an isolated instance or do/did the two enjoy a particularly warm relationship?
