Maleeha Lodhi was Pakistan's permanent representative to the UNO from 6 February 2015 to 30 October 2019. Before that, she was Pakistan's ambassador to the USA and Pakistan's high commissioner to the UK. Her diplomatic career spanned almost 18 years; before that, she was an academic.
On September 24th, 2017, she showed a photo of a Palestinian pellet gun victim as an example of India's pellet gun usage in Kashmir. The Twitter account of Pakistan's UN mission also confirmed that the photo was of a Kashmiri victim.
