[PODCAST] Trump’s pick for Sec. of Education Betsy DeVos UNVEILED & REVEALED

2 min read

LOLGOP and I started a podcast a few months ago and this week’s episode is solely dedicated to Michigander Betsy DeVos, Donald Trump’s pick for Secretary of Education. Not only is Betsy DeVos completely unqualified for the job (she’s not a teacher, has not background in teaching, went to private school herself, and sent her children to top-dollar private schools), she’s the chief enemy of public education in Michigan. She’s now been granted access to a job that will allow her to promulgate her anti-public schools/anti-teacher agenda nationally.

Our special guest for the podcast is Prof. Mitchell Robinson, an expert on the corporatist takeover of education in Michigan and on the corrosive impact of the DeVos family and their anti-public schools agenda.

Betsy DeVos is the sister of Erik Prince, founder of Blackwater, and the husband of billionaire Dick DeVos. In the fourth quarter of last year, the DeVos family was responsible for over HALF of the donations to Republicans in Michigan. They are very literally the Koch brothers of Michigan.

You can listen to our podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, and other podcast distributors (search for “The Sit and Spin Room”) or at our blog HERE. You can also listen to and download the podcast HERE.

Please share widely so that everyone is aware what’s at stake with the nomination of Betsy DeVos as Sec. of Education. Then encourage people to contact their Senators to urge them vote against her confirmation.

Thanks!
