Pence chooses Biden inauguration over Trump's petty sendoff

VP Pence is not expected to attend President Trump's sendoff at Joint Air Force Base Andrews tomorrow morning, per White House officials. He is attending the inauguration later in the day, and aides say it would be logistically challenging for the vice president to do both.

I suppose this would surprise me if Trump hadn’t sent a mob to kill Pence and then neglected to call or check on him while said mob was literally chanting “hang Mike Pence!”

Could it also be that the inauguration is a rare, special event that occurs once every four years, whereas Trump’s military-style sendoff will be like watching a captive audience wildly applaud baby’s first groweds-up, on-the-potty boom-boom?

Might Mike Pence finally understand that spending four years attached like a sea lamprey to the pockiest, most barnacle-laden arse in the known universe is a bad career move? And maybe, just maybe, he wants to move on?

Who knows? Either way, the hits keep coming for DJT.
