PA-17: VoteVets Refuses To Let Cadet Bone Spurs Attack Former Marine, Rep. Conor Lamb (D)

2 min read

Received this e-mail today from VoteVets in support of Rep. Conor Lamb’s (D. PA-17) re-election campaign:

It hasn’t even been one week since we emailed you about the last time Trump showed his fundamental disrespect for our servicemembers and our country’s military. But here we go again.

On Memorial Day — a day when the rest of us were quietly reflecting on the great sacrifice so many have made in service of our country — Donald Trump was busy attacking Marine veteran and House Representative Conor Lamb on Twitter.

Conor has honorably served our country, first as a Marine, and now as a member of Congress and in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. He’s up for reelection this November in a competitive race, so he needs our help standing up to Trump’s attacks. Split a donation today between VoteVets and Conor Lamb, the latest veteran under attack from Donald Trump.

Conor Lamb is an American hero. Donald Trump is a five-time draft-dodger whose entire presidency and tenure as Commander-in-Chief has been littered with disrespect and disdain towards our military, veterans, and their families.

Trump and national Republicans have been relentless in their attacks ever since Conor flipped his district and won his seat by a landslide in 2018. We should be prepared for more shameless attacks like what we saw yesterday. The good news is that this team is uniquely qualified to play defense to try to help Conor keep his seat.

Thanks for chipping in today if you can.
