Received this e-mail today from former presidential candidate, U.S. Senator Kamala Harris (D. CA), in support of State Auditor Eugene DePasquale’s (D. PA-10) congressional campaign:

I am proud to endorse Eugene in his race to represent Pennsylvania’s 10th District in Congress.

Eugene is a fighter with a proven track record of bringing accountability and transparency to government to make the lives of hard-working Pennsylvania families better. As PA’s Auditor General, he nearly eliminated the backlog of rape kits, protected children from abuse, and saved taxpayers millions of dollars by taking on wasteful spending.

That’s exactly the kind of leadership we need in Congress, friend, and it’s why I’m proud to be on Team Eugene. Will you join me in supporting Eugene by chipping in any amount to his campaign right now?  

Friend, justice is on the ballot this November.
