PA-01: Pete Buttigieg Helps Christina Finello (D) Expand Our House Majority

2 min read

Received this e-mail today from former presidential candidate, South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D. IN), in support of Christina Finello’s (D. PA-01) congressional campaign:

Christina Finello (D. PA-01)

We’re just weeks away from the most consequential election of our lifetimes, and I’m not just talking about the presidential contest.

We have the chance to make sure Democrats up and down the ballot can get to work fighting for their communities and repairing the damage of the last four years. And for PA-1, that means electing Christina Finello.

Christina has a shot at flipping this seat if we come together to show our support. Christina is facing the biggest fundraising deadline of the campaign coming up in two days, and today, I’m asking you to please pitch in to show your support.

As a veteran, I am especially impressed by what Christina has accomplished for veterans in Pennsylvania—she worked with the Philadelphia Veterans Court to connect the region’s veterans with high-quality services. In Congress, Christina will be a champion of our military troops and their families, as well as our nation’s veterans.

But, Republicans are determined to stop Christina and hold on to this seat. Outside groups are spending a ton of cash attacking Christina on Republican Brian Fitzpatrick’s behalf, and we know they are ready to spend whatever it takes to keep him in power.

Christina is running a grassroots campaign, and she’s relying on supporters like you to help her compete with the special interest onslaught. Please, join me in supporting Christina’s campaign by pitching in whatever you can before the FEC deadline.

I have high hopes that Christina will hit her goal with your help.

Thank you,
