The G(r)OP(ers) are freaked out about the prospect of Roy Moore 2.0.
Apparently, Alabama’s most venerable pedophile is eager to challenge Doug Jones for the U.S. Senate seat he fumbled away with extreme skeevishness in 2017.
Republicans aren’t happy, because they categorically oppose serial sexual predators who don’t currently live in the White House.
Former UN ambassador Nikki Haley is one such Republican:
“He does not represent our Republican Party.”
Uh, yes, he does. Might as well give him the Chuck E. Cheese costume now (he already appears to have the head), because he’s your mascot, Nikki.
A guy who offends with impunity, lashes out at his accusers, gaslights the public, and takes zero responsibility for his actions, all while cynically attempting to seize the mantle of moral leadership? That doesn’t sound like the Rent Is Too Damn High Party.
Look at the fleshy wad of id that’s squatting in the Oval Office. Just yesterday he was, once again, credibly accused of sexual assault (rape, actually). And his response was — naturally — to lie about his accuser.
This is your party now, ambassador. Stop pretending.
