NYT: Second Ukraine-related whistleblower may soon come forward

And this one may have more info than the first.

Two sources have told The New York Times that a second Ukraine-scandal whistleblower is “weighing whether to file his own formal whistle-blower complaint.” And this guy reportedly has more direct information about Trump’s corrupt intentions. According to the report, the potential whistleblower was interviewed by the intelligence community inspector general about the allegations against Trump:

The inspector general, Michael Atkinson, briefed lawmakers privately on Friday about how he substantiated the whistle-blower’s account. It was not clear whether he told lawmakers that the second official is considering filing a complaint.

A new complaint, particularly from someone closer to the events, would potentially add further credibility to the account of the first whistle-blower, a C.I.A. officer who was detailed to the National Security Council at one point. He said that he relied on information from more than half a dozen American officials to compile his allegations about Mr. Trump’s campaign to solicit foreign election interference that could benefit him politically.

I guess this would be more grist for the impeachment mill, even though Trump tells anyone who will listen that he’s irredeemably and openly corrupt.

Mr. Trump and his allies have taken aim at the credibility of the original whistle-blower by noting that he had secondhand knowledge. The president has also singled out his sources, saying that they were “close to a spy.”

Still, testimony from someone with more direct knowledge of Mr. Trump’s efforts to use American foreign policy for potential political gain would most likely undermine conservatives’ attacks on the C.I.A. officer’s credibility.

Oh, it would undermine their attacks. But then they’d move the goalposts again. Like, into a different stadium somewhere in the Bizarro Universe.

Is Trump still chafing your arse-cheeks? Then Dear Fcking Lunatic: 101 Obscenely Rude Letters to Donald Trump and its breathlessly awaited sequel Dear Fcking Moron: 101 More Letters to Donald Trump by Aldous J. Pennyfarthing are the pick-me-up you need! Reviewers have called these books “hysterically funny,” “cathartic,” and “laugh-out-loud” comic relief. And they’re way, way cheaper than therapy.
