I’ll cut to the chase: My friend Ben Ray Luján is running for the Senate, and he’s facing his first critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline of 2020 at midnight.

President Trump and Republican dark-money groups are watching our state closely and looking for signs of vulnerability. If Ben Ray falls short of his fundraising goal, they could start pouring big money into New Mexico.

I won’t let that happen. Ben Ray needs 918 gifts before midnight to meet his goal. Can you rush a contribution of $5 to help him?
