NJ-Sen: Sen. Cory Booker (D) Pushes The Call For Trump's Corrupt Attorney General To Resign

Received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator Cory Booker’s (D. NJ) re-election campaign:

Sen. Cory Booker (D. NJ)

The Attorney General is meant to defend our country and our nation's best interests — but all William Barr has done is serve as Donald Trump's personal lawyer.

Bill Barr's loyalty has always been to the President, not to the rule of law.

His latest assault on our justice system came when he moved to drop charges against Trump's former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn — who pled guilty to lying to the FBI twice about his involvement in Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Under the direction of Trump, Bill Barr sent a clear message that anyone prepared to break the law will find protection at the highest levels of our government — so long as their lawlessness benefits Donald Trump.

It's a mockery of the rule of law and a disgrace to our democracy. That's why today we're calling on William Barr to resign immediately. If you're with us, add your name to this petition »

No one is above the law.

Not Donald Trump. Not Bill Barr. Not any members of the Trump administration who have spent nearly four years undermining the rule of law and abandoning their responsibilities to the American people by turning the Department of Justice into a political weapon.

Join over two thousand former federal prosecutors and DOJ alumni, multiple Senators, and millions of Americans in calling for Bill Barr's resignation by adding your name to this petition today.
