NC-Sen: Voter Protection Project Endorses Cal Cunningham (D) In The Race To Defeat Thom Tillis (R)

1 min read

Received this e-mail from the group, Voter Protection Project, in support of Cal Cunningham’s (D. NC) U.S. Senate campaign:

We are making BIG commitments to flip the Senate blue in 2020:

Cal is running against Republican Senator Thom Tillis, who has the lowest approval rating of ANY incumbent in the Senate at 33%.

That means we have an amazing shot to win this purple state, but the Republican special interests and shady rightwing Super PACs will do everything to keep Thom Tillis and Mitch McConnell in power.

This is going to be one of the closest red-to-blue races in 2020, so Cal will need our help to pull off a win — can you make a donation to his people-powered campaign ahead of his big FEC End-of-Quarter deadline? »

Cal is an Army veteran and lifelong North Carolinian.

He’ll fight to protect public education, combat the climate crisis, and take on corruption in our politics —

Unlike his opponent, who received more help from the gun lobby than all but 3 Senators and voted with Trump over 99% of the time.

If Cal wins, we’ll be able to take back our Senate majority. Can you contribute just $20.20 towards Cal’s End-of-Quarter goal today? »

We’re going to hold the House AND flip the Senate, but we’ll need you on board to do it.
