NC-Sen: Sen. Tim Kaine (D. VA) Helps Cal Cunningham (D) Get Ready To Defeat Thom Tillis (R)

I received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D. VA) today in support of Cal Cunningham’s (D. NC) U.S. Senate campaign:

We're all going to do everything we can to elect a Democratic president in 2020 — you know that. But we need to win back the Senate if we’re going to successfully move the needle on the issues that matter to all of us.

And to win the Senate, we have to win in North Carolina.

So I'm asking you directly: Can you please chip in $10 or more to help Cal Cunningham in his fight to flip a Senate seat in 2020?

The Senate can (and should) be a more productive place, one where we work together to solve the problems that too many of our friends and neighbors face. That’s why we need Cal in the U.S. Senate. Cal has dedicated his career to serving others, in the U.S. Army Reserve, in the State Senate, and in his community in North Carolina. That spirit of service is exactly what we should have in the Senate right now.

Cal’s victory would go a long way toward securing a Democratic majority in 2020. And he’s got the momentum — three consecutive polls have him ahead, and his race has been upgraded to be more competitive twice in the last few weeks.
