Received this e-mail today from Governor Steve Bullock’s (D. MT) U.S. Senate campaign:

Steve Bullock (D. MT)

Can you believe this?

According to a new report from the Washington Post, Republicans in Washington are talking about making drastic changes to Social Security as part of their response to this pandemic.

Let’s be clear: Social Security is a vital program that rewards a lifetime of hard work. At this critical moment in our nation’s history, we can’t allow Republicans in Washington to raid it as part of their response to the coronavirus.

If you believe Social Security should be preserved and protected, add your name to fight back »

Steve Bullock understands that Social Security is critical to the retirement plans of most Americans and is a vital insurance policy for everyone.

Instead of making changes, we should be doing everything we can to protect this program and ensure that it’s properly funded.

But if these Republicans in Washington get their way, Social Security as we know it could change for good.

That’s just wrong. Add your name if you agree Social Security should be preserved and protected — not raided for relief funds »

Thanks for all you do,

— Team Bullock
