Some very big news today out of Montana:
In the US Senate election, voters prefer Democratic Governor Steve Bullock over Republican Incumbent Steve Daines 49% to 46%, bolstered by his strength among Independent voters and his handling of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Some more context:
WhatâÂÂs notable about this is not that Governor @stevebullockmt is leading Daines, but how close Bullock is to 50%.

There’s also a tight race for Governor:
In the Montana Gubernatorial Election, At-large Representative Greg Gianforte (R) leads Lt Governor Mike Cooney (D) 43% to 41% with 16% undecided.
Independent voters make up majority of undecideds.
