Received this e-mail today from former U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer’s (D. CA) PAC, PAC For A Change, in support of Governor Steve Bullock’s (D. MT) U.S. Senate campaign:

We always knew that taking back the Senate in 2020 would be an uphill battle. Democrats need to win four seats to regain the majority, and the Senate map is tough.

But Democrats started the week with some incredible news from Montana.

Governor Steve Bullock, a former candidate for president, made the inspiring decision to take on unpopular incumbent Sen. Steve Daines and run for Senate. In 2016, Governor Bullock was the only Democrat to win a statewide reelection in a state carried by President Trump, and his profile and experience make him a perfect candidate for this race.

While we all work to stay healthy during the uncertainty around the outbreak, one thing is for certain: Our chances have never been better to take back the Senate.

It is critical to have smart and effective senators who will work to protect the American people. Steve Bullock will be that kind of senator.

Please chip in TODAY and make sure Governor Bullock starts his campaign for U.S. Senate on strong footing.
